Since January 1, 2018, plastic coated paper cups are one of the 14 plastic products banned by the state government.
Karuppannan said that it may be given an exception given its widespread use.

A decision will be made within a few days, \"Karuppannan said.
While the ban will take effect from the beginning of next year, a government order will be passed in a few days to provide for fines in case of violation of the rules.
Karuppannan said the public had a positive reaction to the ban because they had been aware of the need to ban plastics.
Most importantly, the ban will only help farmers become their ecology.
Friendly products can replace the banned plastic.
