Customized Width 860mm PLA Coated Paper Cup Rolls for Paper Cup
Production Introduction
The production process of PLA-laminated paper cups mainly includes these steps:
1. Raw paper preparation: Select food-grade paper pulp (usually wood pulp) with sufficient stiffness and strength for cup shaping.
2. PLA lamination: Feed the paper into a laminator to evenly coat a layer of molten PLA, which cools and solidifies to form a waterproof, oil-resistant film.
3. Cup forming:
● Cut the laminated paper into fan-shaped sheets.
● Roll into a cup cylinder and seal edges (via heat or adhesive).
● Bond a circular bottom to the cylinder for leak-proof sealing.
4. Surface treatment: Print food-grade ink patterns/logos for aesthetics and branding.
5. Quality inspection: Check appearance, dimensions, physical properties (stiffness, pressure resistance), and hygiene indicators.
6. Packaging & storage: Wrap cups in film or boxes and store them for delivery.
Application
Eco - friendliness. PLA, a biodegradable material, significantly reduces environmental impact by decomposing naturally, unlike non - biodegradable PE.
● Catering industry: Disposable paper cups (for cold and hot drinks), noodle bowls, soup buckets.
● Takeout packaging: oil-splashed noodle boxes, fried chicken boxes, French fries cups, salad bowls.
● Food retail: baking packaging, fresh food trays, outer packaging for frozen foods.
